Configferry runs entirely on the client side. There is no server to maintain, no data to store, and no account to manage. The tool itself has no marginal cost, so it is free for anyone to use. The translation engine is self-contained JavaScript that runs in your browser and does not communicate with any remote service.
A payment processor is connected in test mode only. No checkouts are currently active because no paid plans exist yet. When a paid tier is introduced, the checkout will display: "This is a test-mode checkout that will not charge a real card." No real payment will ever be taken without a visible notice stating that payments are live.
Platforms beyond LaunchDarkly and Unleash require a different architecture — a server-side adapter for each platform's API shape. That work is planned but not yet built.
